SPACK, macOS and Docker

In case you want to initialize SPACK environment inside Docker while running linux/amd64 images on macOS make sure to point the environment to SPACK root. Otherwise it won’t start properly.

export SPACK_ROOT=/opt/spack && . /opt/spack/share/spack/setup-env.sh

if you won’t do it, there is a nasty error

==> Error: SPACK_ROOT must point to spack's prefix when using rosetta
