Samsung SCX-4500W and macOS 26 Tahoe

If you are struggling with Samsung SCX-4500W installation on macOS 26 here are the steps to make it work.

— DRIVER —

Get the bundle of old drivers from Apple: https://support.apple.com/en-mo/106427

— Extract driver —

Open SamsungPrinterDrivers.dmg file and drag pkg to some location inside your HOME. Then, extract it.

pkgutil --expand SamsungPrinterDrivers.pkg drivers

— Get Pacifist —

https://www.charlessoft.com

— Run Pacifist —

sudo ./Pacifist.app/Contents/MacOS/Pacifist

— Open Package —

Select package that you have downloaded and choose Install.

Since now, your printer and scanner are visible on the list of printers.
