This book is a simple introduction to location development. In my opinion, slightly outdated (it covers XCode 4.2 and iOS 5). It also covers topics like migration from XCode 3 to XCode 4 – I am not sure if anyone will be interested in that.

If you prefer digging in the code instead of just reading you can simply download examples and browse through the code.
