JetBrains Academy – or how to have fun while learning new stuff

I have already mentioned on the blog that I have started my adventure with JetBrains Academy. I am pursuing my knowledge of Kotlin, and the whole process goes pretty well.

What I like most in JetBrains’ Academy way of setting goals is that you are dealing with real applications. Applications that do something. For example, take a look at minesweeper app below.

Once you complete it, you will certainly be happy that you have built your own game, in Kotlin. It’s a win-win :)

In case you are not quite into games, there is no problem here. You can choose from a variety of other projects that cover various types of problems and are rated from Easy to Challenging.

If you don’t want to work with project based approach at all, you can choose track based way of learning instead. In that case, you can simply cheery pick the lectures and follow them on the track.

So, you are telling me that you are interested in learning Python, Java or Kotlin? In that case, make sure to take a closer look at JetBrains Academy, and give it a try :)
